Jarosite (125)
KFe3(SO4)2(OH)6, Potassium Iron Sulphate Hydroxide. Jarosite is not a common mineral it is only used for specimens for mineral collectors. It was named in 1852 after the type locality, Barranco Jaroso in southern Spain. Jarosite is usually found as amber-yellow to brown crusts or coatings of minute crystals, larger crystals are rather rare.
